This is also aromatically super-fresh with a lovely mélange of plum

There is both good intensity and detail to the lightly mineral-inflected middle weight flavors that culminate in a mildly austere and rustic but solidly complex and persistent finish

Quite a bit of tannin and dryness now

Bouchard Pere et Fils, Beaune Marconnets Size:6x750ml This is an impressive set(from a 2. 3 ha holding). Here there is enough reduction to mask the underlying fruit. More interesting are the attractively detailed and notably more mineral driven flavors that arent as rich though they are finer and particularly so on the youthfully austere and lingering finish. This too could use more depth but more should reasonably develop if given a chance.
