Persimmon - Jiro citrus the Bolivian name of theLarge flat, square shaped fruit of excellent quality. The tree can be considered a semi dwarf variety as grows 2 5m tall and it is well suited to backyards but is also a good commercial variety. Mostly seedless fruit, Non astringent so can be eaten when crunchy or left soften. The tree is grafted and currently approx 1m high above the pot. Will start to fruit in 1 2 years. Self pollinating so you only need one tree and its great for growing in pots.
