Hybrid II Finish:Framed Artwork supplied strung and readyHybrid II by abstract artist Christian Hook is part of Hook's Hybrid series of equine portraits. Drawing inspiration from his visit to Mykonos in Greece, he was struck by how ancient Greek sculptors had given their animals human features, making them more relatable to us. He had noted this approach in the drawings of Leonardo da Vinci, who combined his drawings with the theatrical characteristics of human actors on stage. Hook's work is characterized
