E. filter. The tie rod runs the full length of the filter tank, clamping the upper and lower manifold assemblies together under operating pressure. A damaged, corroded, or stripped tie rod compromises the structural integrity of the filter housing, which can result in grid misalignment, internal bypass, or tank separation. Replacing a failed tie rod restores
