This was the first of the single-vineyard wines from Brovia released this year that I tasted in a flight meant to increase in intensity

Both 2013s are clearly the finest Eisele wines made under the administration of François Pinault and his top lieutenant

Carruades Lafite Size:3x3L 30% whole clusters)Medium red ruby. Currant, cherry and licorice aromas complicated by cooler notes of tobacco leaf, menthol and fresh herbs. The palate offers limited sweetness, with the distinctly green element giving the wine a slightly tart impression. Offers only modest density and length, but I liked its almost sangiovese like floral quality. Stephen Tanzer
