Handmade Elk Rattle Large Round and Flat with Painted Peyote Emblem Books Good for crayonsThe rawhide head is made of elk. The handle was found on my property. The base of the head has a leather wrap. The back of the rattle has a rough natural texture. Inside the rattle are small bits of rawhide and some corn, this gives the rattle a softer and quieter sound compared to rattles filled with corn only. This is a brand new design that I came up with recently. The large, flat head gives the rattle more variation in tone between forward motion
