The pressure is distributed evenly between the horses nose, lower jaw and poll. More rein action puts some pressure on the angle of the mouth. Suitable for horses that are very sensitive in the mouth, but cant be ridden with a Hackamore only. The tongue port snaffle gives the horses tongue enough room because of the flattened area on the port. Many horses react to this with more relaxation and chewing.
