A comprehensively revised edition of his atlas, "elegantly engraved by the most eminent artists" was published posthumously. Condition & Materials Steel engraving, 48 x 59. 5 cm, original hand colour, blank verso, a map of ancient Gaul, prepared for Playfairs New General Atlas.
