La Miraja, "Riserva," Monferrato, Italy, Ruchè di Castagnole, 2019 Cru Beaujolais Scotland (Northwest of GlasgowAged 24 months in used French oak followed by three months in bottle, this riserva shows beautiful aromatics of red cherry and plum with intense earthy notes of spice, leather and tobacco. Age and development in the bottle has softened the tannins to give a full and plush palate. Layered and elegant, enjoy this with truffle risotto, spiced salumi or aged cheeses.
