Bokhara Yomud Carpet hand-knotted carpet This pieceYomud Bokhara carpets (also known as Yomut or Yamut) are named after the Yomud tribes residing along the Caspian Sea and tend to feature earth tone colors. Various vegetable and other natural dyes are used to produce the rug's rich colors. Atop their colors sit diamond shaped gul motifs with latched or serrated edges repeated in rows and columns. Their all over design enhance any room with their pleasing symmetry. While Yomud Bokharas typically
