The infusion is then blended with pear eau-de-vie to enhance the intensity of flavour

with hints of coffee and a layer of ripe pineapple

Drookit Dug was designed to be a 'cask strength session dram' and was matured in refill sherry butts. Bottled at 43. 6% ABV. Nose: Thick cut marmalade, bay leaves and pink candy floss. Palate: Bread and butter pudding, rose water Turkish delight and strawberries. Finish: toasted marshmallows on hot chocolate.
