The McPherson Brothers began manufacturing in Glasgow in 1881 which would place the date of manufacture of this item between 1881 – 1883

The side plate was manufactured in the 1940’s and is in a magnificent sun yellow pastel glaze with the bottom being white

All three of the items as well as the ball finial handle on the stand are decorated in a graceful beaded motif
