Most commonly they are used by welding them to your equipment and then bolting a caster to it. Many customers weld the caster directly to the equipment, however, when it comes time to replace the caster they have to cut them off. This plate eliminates the time and cost of cutting off the caster by allowing you to simply unbolt the caster.
