The Kilchoman team took 20 butts and combined them after five years of ageing. Fino is light, fresh and and quite crisp, so the result is distinct to other, more commonly spotted ex sherry cask whiskies. Its fascinating and a masterclass in complementing a smoke forward distillate. Tasting note: Nose: The classic
