The top is of a finely grained spruce, and the violin has been finished with an amber brown varnish. The violin is fitted with an ebony chinrest and pegs, and has a Wittner tailpiece with built in fine tuners. It measures 356mm in length, 168mm across the upper bouts, and 206mm across the lower bouts.
