Specification for surgical elastic band trusses Ingestion-build-68772 Data and analysis1 Scope This British Standard specifies the materials used in the manufacture of component parts of surgical elastic band trusses, together with such dimensions as are independent of the individual clinical requirements. Provision is made for inguinal and scrotal elastic band trusses with fixed pads or adjustable pads (excluding sliding pads). Requirements are included for woven webbing materials for use in the fabrication of elastic band trusses.
