Jacob Bromwells invention was first in its kind and was patented in 1930. Th item is a vintage 3 cup Bromwells measuring sifter with the very popular wooden crank Marked on the sifter: Bromwells Made in USA. Age related patina exists and the item is well used with a bend on the base. Also, the item only has a 2 wire agitator and not 4, but still works.
