Although the bowl is not original to the item it is in perfect condition and fits well in the plate hole

Each plate is stamped underneath Cashmere Fine Bone China by Maxwell & Williams
They closed permanently in 1997
The case is hinged and has a silver metal frontal clip
The pattern displays a blue and yellow frieze (band) beneath the rim and large blue flowers with smaller blooming yellow/orange flowers upon a vine
Height of handle: 3 cm
but this is not visible
Some fading of the gold patterning and rim has occurred with age and the rim also has a few tiny chips
