many of which are heirloom pieces

and are best preserved when kept in dry areas to prevent damage

Handcrafted in the sweetgrass basket weaving tradition of the Gullah community of Mount Pleasant South Carolina, this hand sewn basket, is made from locally harvested materials including sweetgrass, bulrush, pine needles, and palmetto. Item Details: Measurements approximately 13x2 inches. Hand sewn using sweetgrass, palmetto, and pine needles. Handmade by a 6th Generation Gullah Weaver in 2022. Care Instructions:
