Sintra, Portugal - Palazzo de Pena but very solid and light40 x 19 x 2 cm Apparently this building has some masonic history dating well back in Sintra's history. The wood is another piece from our Maldives shipwreck. This piece was part of the hull as it has grooves worn into it from many years of water flowing over it. None of the wood from this wreck would float so I imagine it sat for years at the bottom of the lagoon before a storm swept it up on the beach. The barnacle holes completely through the wood
