Late Victorian Swedish 18ct Gold Amethyst and Seed Pearl Tie Pin feed-condition-used The golden double-heart motif madeA handsome late Victorian tie pin dating to 1895, set with a marquise cut amethyst framed by a border of seed pearls. The pin bears Swedish hallmarks including the letter M for Malm, the maker's mark GD&Co for Gustav Dahlgren & Co, the Swedish Crown mark and the date letter R6, corresponding to 1895. The elegant navette shaped design was highly fashionable during the late nineteenth century, appearing in rings, brooches and stick pins alike. The rich
