After my recovery from my bone marrow transplant, I learned to use fabric paint and would paint the words "Future Cancer Survivor" on T shirts and give them to new patients that I would meet. There would be a smile on their face, just seeing the image, and then a small gasp when they read the words. Seeing that, was amazing.
