Vintage 1950-1955 Royal Harvey Porcelain Biscuit Plate - Pattern RHV5 Decor which is known as theRoyal Harvey was a trade name used by Gibson & Sons Ltd. between 1950 1955. Gibson & Sons began manufacturing in Burslem in 1885 as Samuel Gibson and became Gibson & Sons Ltd in 1905. The firm is reputed to have manufactured the largest teapot in the world, which could hold 1024 cups of tea. They used the trade names Silvoe Art Ware, Duchess Art Ware, Windsor Art Ware and Royal Harvey. The firm closed permanently in the 1970s. This is a vintage
