1970's Selmer Scroll Shank Alto .080" brecker 111" on my gaugeHere is a vintage Selmer scroll shank C*. This piece was opened by Sebastian Knox from . 063"(C*) to . 080" (E). These are the last mouthpieces that Selmer made in the '70s with the classic horseshoe cathedral style chamber configuration before adopting the square chamber of the S 80 series that eventually started coming with the Mark VII saxophones. This last generation has the smallest chamber and lowest beak of the Soloist and "Soloist Style"
